Wipro Limited, a prominent technology services and consulting company, has announced the appointment of Srini Pallia as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective immediately. Srini Pallia, who brings over three decades of experience with Wipro, including recent leadership as CEO for Americas 1, is poised to lead the company into its next phase of growth and profitability. He succeeds Thierry Delaporte, who, after guiding Wipro through a significant transformation over the past four years, is stepping down to pursue personal interests beyond the corporate sphere.

Srini’s extensive experience within Wipro, including leadership roles such as President of Wipro’s Consumer Business Unit and Global head of Business Application Services, equips him well to steer the company through the evolving technological landscape.
