Halloween act that could cost $2000 to Australians

Australian government have been warned that they could be fined up to $2,000 for wearing a Halloween costume while driving or on road.

The warning comes from Dominic Wyatt of the International Drivers Association, who says that Australian road laws require drivers to have proper control of their vehicle and a clear view of the road at all times.

Wyatt says that wearing a costume that obscures vision, limits mobility, or otherwise interferes with the ability to operate a vehicle could lead to fines and loss of demerit points in some jurisdictions.

For example, driving a vehicle without a clear view in NSW can lead to a $387 penalty and the loss of three demerit points.

Wyatt is urging Australians to think twice before wearing a Halloween costume while driving, warning that impaired vision or restricted movement can dangerously affect driving ability and lead to potential accidents.

Australians are being warned against wearing Halloween costumes while driving, as they could be fined up to $2,000 for doing so. This is because costumes can obscure vision, limit mobility, and interfere with the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
